AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in an aggravated robbery and shooting.
The incident took place on the afternoon of December 27.
Investigators on Thursday released surveillance video of the suspect whom they say barged into a Spring Hill apartment on Everton Drive, then shot and robbed the resident.
According to the police report, the 20-year-old male victim suffered “possible internal injuries” from the gunshot wound. He was taken to Akron General Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect is described as 18-21 years old, 5’8″-6’0″, 180-190 lbs., with medium-to-dark skin. He was wearing a black or navy Adidas striped jacket, brown cargo pants and a black knit cap.
Police say they want the culprit identified immediately, but warn people not to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.
