NORTH CANTON, Ohio — Police in North Canton are looking for a pair of robbers who allegedly broke into a woman’s apartment early Monday morning and held up her guests at gunpoint.
It happened just after 1:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Applegrove Street NE.
Police say two men kicked in the front door and pointed handguns at the woman and her three guests. The suspects ransacked the apartment, then robbed the victims of personal items and money.
One of the robbers fired a shot into a bedroom ceiling, but police believe the weapons were only used to threaten the victims.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
The suspects fled on foot with the stolen property and cash.
With assistance from K-9 units, officers searched the area for the robbers. They’re efforts were unsuccessful.
Now, police are looking for two suspects matching these descriptions:
Suspect #1: 5’10″ – 6’0″; heavy build or stocky; was wearing all dark or black clothing, black baseball cap and hoodie.
Suspect #2: 6’0″ or taller; skinny, facial hair (goatee); was wearing all dark or black clothing, black baseball cap and hoodie.
