AKRON– A delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday night.
Akron police say it happened around 10:30 p.m. to a driver for China Star Restaurant.
The driver told police he was trying to deliver food in the 1200 block of Cordova Ave.
When no one answered the door, the driver walked back to his car. Police say the suspect approached the driver, pointed a gun at him and demanded money.
The driver emptied his pockets and gave the suspect an unknown amount of money.
The suspect ran away.
