AMHERST, Ohio– Police arrested a man after they said he robbed the Junction Beverage Drive Thru on Milan Ave. on Sunday night.
They said the suspect, later identified as Nicholas Thomas, 25, showed a knife during the robbery.
Police said an employee chased after the suspect. He was later arrested in a field behind Faith Baptist Church on N. Lake St.
The Lorain man was charged with aggravated robbery.
Police are investigating whether the robbery and a robbery at Pure gas station are related.
In that incident, the suspect stole $300 and a couple packs of cigarettes.
